Opening May 2025
From mid 2025, two more apartments will be added in the Vistamar house. It is still under construction. From June 2024, we will shield it visually and acoustically so that holidaymakers and retreat guests at Quinta Pomar will not feel disturbed.
A hundred years ago, a family with children lived here. The people did not have to go hungry. The land provided enough, and then there was also the nearby sea that contributed to their diet. That was long ago. The family emigrated to America decades ago. The house fell into disrepair, and a giant rubber tree grew in front of it, whose roots penetrated the house and broke the floors.
After years of planning – with COVID-19 also causing delays – we received approval at the beginning of this year to renovate the ruin. The historical structure will be preserved. The renovation is already underway. By spring 2025, the old house is set to be revived as Vistamar with two apartments.
