For decades, a dilapidated farmhouse stood here. Twenty years ago, we transformed the property and created Quintamar with four beautiful apartments.
Two of them are 4-room apartments, each featuring three bedrooms, views of our swimming pond, a terrace with a sea view, a fully equipped kitchen, a spacious living room, two bathrooms, and a shaded pergola perfect for outdoor dining. These apartments comfortably accommodate 6 to 8 people.
Additionally, there are two 3-room apartments facing the swimming pond. The upper-floor apartment has a terrace overlooking the sea and the pond, while the ground-floor apartment offers a pergola, ideal for enjoying meals or reading outdoors during summer. These apartments are designed for up to 5 people.
Behind the house, you’ll find a children’s playground with a trampoline and a pirate ship. Right next to it is the Quintamar Zoo, home to chickens, ducks, and two Vietnamese pot-bellied pigs. The animals especially enjoy being fed kitchen scraps by children.
For those who prefer staying on-site rather than heading to the nearby beach, our natural swimming pond in front of the house offers a refreshing alternative. With an area of 300 square meters, it is one of Quintamar’s highlights. The pond features a swimming zone in the center and a regeneration zone along the edges.
In the regeneration zone, plants such as pondweed and water lilies absorb nitrates and ammonium, releasing oxygen, while microorganisms reduce algae and germs. The result is crystal-clear and clean water, achieved without the use of chlorine or other chemicals, preserving the delicate balance of the flora and fauna.
The regeneration zone is home to frogs, which thrive there, attracting the attention of local storks. It’s not uncommon for a stork to stop by for a quick snack, as the swimming pond provides a bountiful table for them as well.
All apartments are equipped with Wi-Fi and modern amenities.
